NDIS Pricing Arrangement and Price Limits 2025-26
The NDIA has recently released a new Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits guide - see in full here
This means that as of the 1st of July, there will be some changes to the way NDIS funds can be used.
From July 1st:
The travel rate providers can charge will be halved (from $193.99/hr to $97/hr).
The early childhood age limit has been extended to 9 years old (support codes will now be the same for children up to 9 years of age)
What’s changing?
What does this mean for supports with Gumnuts?
These changes are an opportunity to bring greater transparency to the time and care involved in delivering high-quality, collaborative supports. Previously, some of the behind-the-scenes work (like session planning, note writing and team liaison) went un-billed with a view to being covered by travel charges.
With these recent NDIS updates reducing the amount providers can claim for travel, this important non-contact work will now be reflected in invoices.
For some families, this also means funding can be reallocated to allow for longer face-to-face sessions.
Invoices may now include:
– Face-to-face session time
– Travel time and non-labour travel
– Non-contact time for therapy planning, note writing, research and preparation
– Liaison with families, other providers, and school or care teams
These changes help us ensure that every part of the support we provide continues to be collaborative, caring, quality and child and family centred.
